A leading university in Selangor is seeking passionate educators in Fashion Design. Responsibilities include preparing and delivering lectures, developing curricula aligned with national standards, and supervising student research. Limkokwing University of Creative Technology – Sepang, Selangor
Preparing, organising and delivering lectures, tutorials, workshops, and seminars.
Developing curricula and course material aligned with MQA standards and adaptable across multiple platforms.
Collaborating with colleagues to enhance teaching methods and knowledge sharing.
Supervising graduate students where applicable.
Designing and grading assignments, tests, and examinations.
Conducting impactful research and contributing through publications, proposals, and creative outputs.
Participating in institutional meetings, conferences, and academic initiatives.
Engaging in professional training and development opportunities.
Providing academic and pastoral support to students and colleagues.
Fashion Design, Fashion Retailing and Brand Management- Fashion Design subjects, Fashion Retailing, Fashion Media & Marketing Innovation.
Deep knowledge of the chosen academic field, supported by advanced qualifications (PhD preferred, Master’s degree minimum).
Proven ability in effective teaching, curriculum design, and student engagement.
Knowledge of and adherence to MQA standards and requirements, with the ability to embed these in curriculum development, assessment, and teaching.
Previous teaching or relevant industry experience is advantageous.
Skilled in using educational technologies and learning management systems.
Competence in conducting statistical or qualitative research, depending on the field (for postgraduate lecturers).
Ability to integrate digital tools seamlessly into teaching and research.
Capable of motivating learners through enthusiasm and creativity.
Flexibility, resilience, and willingness to dedicate extra time when required.
Strong interpersonal, presentation, written, and verbal communication skills.
