A leading food service company in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Learning & Development Executive/Assistant to develop and implement training programs. The ideal candidate will lead training sessions, enhance skill development, and collaborate with management to improve operational excellence. The role requires strong people management skills and the ability to effectively manage training assessments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential. Develop tailored learning materials and training content that address specific needs (e.g., Standard operation procedure, customer service, leadership, etc.)
Lead and facilitate training sessions for team members at different levels, including team members, shift managers/supervisors and assistant managers. This can involve onboarding, upskilling, and refresher courses.
Develop new modules according to operational needs and related skills.
Develop and Implement training programs in all restaurants with positive outcomes in product, service and image quality.
Conduct basic/refresher/new restaurant opening training and any performance improvement tasks.
Conduct training for new product launch.
Conduct Shift Manager Training Program according to internal career development.
Organize training programs that focus on enhancing specific skills such as customer interaction, food preparation or hygiene standards.
Collaborate with Management to ensure the alignment of training to achieve Operations and Service Excellence.
Support managers in developing/improving SOPs for restaurant operations.
Manage Supervisor Assignment/Assessment Briefing to RGMs and Wing Leaders for each of their supervisor’s candidates who have completed the Training Program with L&D.
Conduct online assessment and follow up practical assignments with supervisor in training.
Follow up with restaurant for their new product training.
Conducting SOP Test for Supervisor intake, Restaurant Manager confirmation and internal promotion process.
