About the Role

The Lead Frontend Engineer is a key member of our product‑focused engineering team. You will play an instrumental role in delivering a seamless, innovative, and engaging banking experience to our customers. As a senior contributor, you will not only write clean and scalable code but also collaborate with cross‑functional teams to design, build, and optimize high‑quality frontend systems.

Your Impact

• Redefine Banking Experiences: Develop intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces that make banking accessible and enjoyable for Malaysians.
• Deliver High‑Quality Solutions: Use modern technologies to design and optimize scalable, responsive, and high‑performance frontend (mobile & web) systems.
• Mentor and Collaborate: Lead by example in coding best practices and help upskill team members to drive continuous improvement in our engineering culture.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop robust, scalable, and user‑friendly mobile & web applications with a focus on performance and usability.
• Collaborate closely with product managers, designers, backend engineers, and QA to deliver end‑to‑end features.
• Drive the architecture design and implementation of reusable components, optimized state management, and responsive designs.
• Advocate and adhere to best development practices, including testing, code reviews, and documentation.
• Mentor and manage junior engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and growth.
