Job summary

A chemical manufacturing company in Malaysia is seeking a Laboratory Technician to perform quality inspections and conduct maintenance on laboratory equipment. Candidates should possess at least a Diploma in Science or an equivalent qualification in Chemistry or Food Technology. Those with experience in Gas and Liquid Chromatography are favored, while fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply. The role requires a positive mindset and the ability to work independently under pressure.

Qualifications

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma in Science or equivalent qualification in Chemistry/Food Technology.
• Experience in laboratory testing, Gas Chromatography and/or Liquid Chromatography analysis will be added advantage.
• Matured, positive thinking, able to work on shift, under pressure and independently.

• Perform quality inspection job as required for evaluation of raw materials, in-process and finished products.
• Conduct routine maintenance and calibration tasks for laboratory equipment/instruments to ensure accurate analysis results.
