Job summary

A food testing company based in Malacca is seeking a dedicated individual for laboratory testing roles. Responsibilities include conducting daily tests, ensuring timely reporting of results, maintaining laboratory cleanliness, and managing out of specification handling. Ideal candidates should have a diploma in Science or Food Technology and preferably a year of experience in food testing or laboratory work. Responsibilities

• Responsible to carry out daily routine testing.
• Ensure timely sharing of test results without delay.
• Report any abnormal results to QA Executive.
• Maintain cleanliness before and after work.
• Plan daily sample tests according to priority.
• Handle out of specifications including retesting and verification.

Job description

• Responsible to carry out daily routine testing.
• Make sure all test results are shared as soon as possible without delay and following required turnaround time (TAT).
• Report to QA Executive (Chemical/Microbe Lab) for any abnormal results.
• Maintain cleanliness before start and end work.
• Plan daily sample tests according to priority.
• Involved in out of specification handling, including sample retesting and batch verification to ensure compliance with food safety and quality standard.
• Required to work overtime when requested.
• Willing to shift scope/area of duties and responsibilities to expand knowledge.
• Communicate and conduct any project/ job/ ad hoc testing or study requested by superior.
• Diploma in Science, Food Technology or any related field.
