Korean Accounts Receivable and Treasury Analyst
We are seeking an experienced analyst to manage accounts receivable, treasury, and inter‑company reconciliation across multiple countries. The role requires strong financial controls, customer credit management, and continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Process accounts receivable, treasury, and inter‑company tasks according to Service Level Agreements.
- Apply cash application and remittance reconciliation for assigned countries accurately within specific timescales, and prepare details of unallocated and unidentified receipts for key individuals.
- Identify and follow up on unidentified open items in the clearing account during daily and monthly bank reconciliations, and reconcile the cash pool account.
- Coordinate with key individuals for the preparation and posting of inter‑company non‑trade related debit and credit notes, and prepare monthly reconciliations, highlight and resolve anomalies.
- Generate statement of accounts to customers and track and resolve disputes, routing to local affiliates.
- Initiate the dunning process and generate reminders for overdue accounts.
- Perform month end, quarter end, and year end closing activities for assigned countries.
- Prepare preliminary and final inter‑company accounts receivable balances to reconcile against counterparty balances, and ensure timely and accurate deal settlement and posting of treasury related transactions including inter‑company foreign exchange, loan, accrual, and actual interest, bank charges, etc.
- Perform credit management duties, including credit analysis on customers according to company credit policy and procedures, reviewing credit risk for new and existing customers, and making credit limit recommendations.
- Manage collection efforts to ensure customers pay within agreed payment terms, contacting sales team and customers as needed per company debt collection procedures.
- Provide excellent customer service skills while initiating customer outreach calls and receiving inbound calls, serving as the first point of contact for operational support and issue solving, and liaising with customers for balance confirmation and monitoring of daily sales order status.
- Handle AR bad debt allowance and write‑off management.
Key Deliverables
- Daily application and reconciliation of accounts receivable and treasury transactions.

Documentation & Controlling
- Maintain updated work documentation and processes to meet Internal Control Financial Reporting (ICFR), group policies, local statutory and legal requirements within agreed timelines.
- Perform backup functions and other duties, including job rotation to other functional teams as required.
- Participate in internal and external compliance audit queries.
Transformation / Continuous Improvement Implementations
- Collaborate with customers and key individuals on continuous improvement projects.
- Engage and support teams in the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives.
- Identify, recommend, and implement solutions in consultation with management for continuous improvement opportunities in operational areas.
- Assist in effective knowledge transfer and sharing of best practices within the team.
Qualifications
- Degree or Diploma in Finance & Accounting, Commerce, or equivalent.
- Proficiency in English and Korean is required. Good communication skills are essential.
- Minimum 1-4 years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Treasury or related accounting functions.
- Experience with SAP or other ERP accounting systems and MS Office tools.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and customer service skills.
