Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of ingredients by washing, peeling, chopping, and marinating vegetables, meats, and other items.
  • Perform basic cooking tasks under supervision, such as boiling, grilling, steaming, and frying.
  • Provide assistance to senior chefs during service, including plating dishes and preparing sauces.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen, including washing utensils and cleaning workstations.
  • Actively learn new cooking techniques and recipes from senior chefs to develop culinary skills.
  • Help manage kitchen inventory by unpacking deliveries, storing ingredients properly, and assisting with stock rotation.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations, ensuring proper food handling, storage, and sanitation practices.
  • Collaborate effectively with other kitchen staff to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations during busy service times.
