Job summary

A local bakery in Malaysia is seeking a Food Service Team Member to prepare and serve menu items. Candidates must have at least SPM/ STPM and be passionate about the food and beverage industry. Fresh graduates are welcome, and experience in food service is advantageous. The role requires teamwork, the ability to work independently, and adherence to health and safety standards. Requirement

Responsibility
  • Prepare and serve menu items (bagels, all day breakfast, pasta & sourdough pizza) in accordance with production requirements.
  • Ensure day to day operation runs smoothly accordance to the SOP.
  • Performing basic cleaning duties and ensuring that work stations and kitchen are properly sanitized.
  • Receiving deliveries and verifying that all ordered items have been delivered and are of good quality.
  • Taking inventory of restaurant supplies and notifying the supervisor of low or depleted supplies.
  • Discarding all expired and spoiled food items stored in the stock rooms, refrigerators, and freezers.
  • Plating and presenting meal items as per the Kitchen Head instructions.
  • Carry out any other duties as required by management.
