Kindergarten Teacher - Full day Teacher and Mandarin Teacher

I Discover Montessori Preschool is seeking a passionate and experienced Kindergarten Teacher to join our team in Setia Alam, Selangor. This full-time role will involve teaching young children in a nurturing and dynamic Montessori environment, as well as providing Mandarin language instruction.

What you'll be doing

• Implementing the Kindergarten syllabus and Montessori curriculum and philosophy to provide a high-quality early childhood education experience
• Planning and delivering engaging, age-appropriate lessons and activities to support children's cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development
• Observing and assessing children's progress, and adapting teaching methods to meet individual needs
• Fostering a positive, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment
• Collaborating with parents and the wider school community to support children's learning and wellbeing
• Providing Mandarin language instruction as part of the curriculum

What we're looking for

• A bachelor's degree or diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
• A minimum of 2 years' experience teaching in a Montessori or similar early childhood setting
• Strong knowledge of the Kindergarten and Montessori teaching philosophy and its implementation
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with children, parents, and colleagues
• Proficiency in the English/ Malay/ Mandarin language, with the ability to teach it effectively
• A passion for nurturing and supporting the holistic development of young children
