About the role

Join the vibrant and nurturing team at Little Cove Montessori as a full-time Kindergarten Teacher. In this rewarding role, you will be responsible for creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that fosters the intellectual, social and emotional growth of our young students. Reporting to the Preschool Director, you will be based in our Setapak, Kuala Lumpur campus.

What you'll be doing
  • Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate Montessori-based lessons and activities that align with the curriculum and meet the individual needs of each child
  • Observe and assess children's progress, providing regular feedback and collaborating with parents to support each child's development
  • Establish a warm, caring and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity, independence and respect
  • Maintain detailed records, documentation and portfolios to track children's learning and development
  • Support children's social, emotional and physical wellbeing, and promote positive behaviour
  • Contribute to the broader life of the school through staff meetings, professional development and community events
What we're looking for
  • Diploma in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • 1-3 years' experience teaching in an early childhood setting
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with children and families
  • Creativity, flexibility and a passion for nurturing young minds
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a collaborative approach to teaching
