Responsibilities

• Supervise the team members in maintaining the high guest service focus and excellent rapport by approaching the job with guests in mind and being proactive towards their needs and requests.
• Ensure children and parents are warmly welcomed, with smooth check‑in and check‑out procedures at the Kids Club.
• Supervise the team members and monitor children at all times to guarantee their safety and well‑being.
• Support the Recreation Manager in planning, organising and leading fun, creative, and educational activities (arts & crafts, games, storytelling, sports, etc.).
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and enjoyable work environment for the Kids Club.
• Handle minor incidents, disputes, or injuries calmly and effectively, following the safety guidelines.
• Ensure the cleanliness, hygiene, and orderliness of the Kids Club area.
• Communicate and handle parents effectively if there is a service complaint, providing updates to the Recreation Manager when needed.
• Support in planning of special events, holiday programs, and themed kids’ activities.
• Ensure compliance with all company policies, health & safety procedures, and child protection guidelines.
• Provide guests with information about resort facilities, spa, and recreation activities.
• Take initiative to resolve issues, clearly communicating with both guests and colleagues.
• Respond quickly and positively to changing requirements and tasks assigned.
• Contribute ideas and suggestions to enhance operational / environmental procedures and facilities in the property.
• Maintain vigilance and sense of responsibility at all times.
• Ensure all facilities and equipment are operating well.
• Ensure guests have a comfortable and safe experience, and team members can work in a safe environment.
• Be vigilant and responsible for the safety hazard of all guests using the pool, reporting promptly.
• Ensure that all activities and job functions are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.
• Perform other related duties and special projects.
• Carry out any other reasonable tasks or requests as directed by the Management.

Qualifications

• Local Malaysian citizen.
• Minimum 3 years of experience working with children (childcare, teaching, babysitting, recreation, etc.).
• Good interpersonal skills to provide overall guest satisfaction.
• Able to lead a team in performing and facilitating children & teen sports & games, arts & crafts, outdoor exploration, storytelling and music, dances, pool and beach play and other recreational activities.
• Able to stand, walk, bend, lift and / or sit to continuously perform essential job functions.
• Able to work outdoor poolside environment with exposure to sun and water.
• Friendly, energetic, patient, and creative personality.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to lead group activities and manage different age groups.
• Able to work under pressure and deal with stressful situations during busy periods.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR would be ideal.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Able to converse well in English and Bahasa, both verbal and written to meet business needs.
