Job summary

A leading engineering company seeks a maintenance technician with a diploma in engineering. The role entails preparing and maintaining reports, troubleshooting equipment, and ensuring good housekeeping. Candidates must have 1–3 years of experience and a positive attitude. Salary is negotiable with a maximum of RM 2,500 monthly. Working hours are from 9.00 am to 6.00 pm, Monday to Friday. Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply, and training will be provided.

Job description

Responsibilities

1. Prepare and maintain reports detailing all tests, repairs, and maintenance performed.
2. Maintains all equipment within manufacturer specifications.
3. Submits proposals and recommendations to department supervisors for upgrades or changes.
4. Upkeep proper maintenance records for each piece of equipment.
5. Troubleshoots and conducts periodic inspections to determine maintenance work required.
6. Follows Preventive Maintenance Instructions and ensures that the records for such are properly documented.
7. Attend to complaints on all defects and breakdowns.
8. Manage inventory and consumption of spare parts.
9. Ensure good housekeeping & cleanliness discipline in workshops and worksite.
10. Responsible for all work orders and schedules to meet.
11. Willing to work under extended hours OCCASIONALLY.
12. To assist in other technical processes when required.
13. Other ad-hoc duties may be required.
