Junior Supervisor (Based in Kulim High Tech Park, Kedah)

We partner with our customers to optimize thermal performance, decrease design time, and improve the efficiency of products and applications. Watlow brings 100 years of experience to numerous industries, including semiconductor processing, clean environment technology, energy generation, diesel emissions, medical and food service equipment.

Job Position Summary

This position will lead flow and process in assigned work centers; coaching work center team on Continuous improvement and embracing change.

  • Build product to design using work instructions/standards.
  • Ensure the deployment of a safe and healthy work environment for all work team members.
  • Coordinate and meet MO delivery requirements with quality product.
  • Initiate/Update daily production plan to achieve Takt, include daily resource plan.
  • Coach and mentor cell team members.
  • Share in the responsibility of team member development.
  • Lead Gemba walk and follow up on actions regarding Cell Improvement, Standard Work & PSCs (Problem Solving Centers).
  • Follow Andon process.
  • Provide on the job training.
  • Create and audit standard work in assigned areas of responsibility with Engineering, Manufacturing and CI alignment.
  • Verify daily 6S is followed.
  • Communicate with Team Leader any problems, team issues, etc.
  • Follow Standard Operating Process (SOP) Lead Operator.
  • Responsible for training in the Work Cell and ensuring proper training records are retained.
Business Partner
  • Collaborate with Supply Chain to ensure inventory accuracy.
Center of Expertise (COE)
  • Previous Manufacturing or related industry experience.
Education, Experience and Certification Requirements

Preferred Two-year degree or Technical Certificate or related experience (3-5 years)
