Responsibilities:
Monthly Routine:
- Prepare and maintain full set of accounts for a portfolio of Malaysia and Singapore clients
- Prepare/Review monthly, quarterly and yearly management accounts with relevant supporting schedules
- Assist in preparation and submission of SST/GST returns
- Assist in monthly payroll and AP processing services
Yearly Routine:
- Prepare Form E and EA for review
- Prepare personal tax computations (Form B, BE, P) for review
- Prepare unaudited financial statements and consolidated accounts (for candidates with prior audit or financial reporting experience)
General:
- Liaise with clients to address accounting queries and concerns
- Liaise with auditors, tax agents, government authorities and other stakeholders as needed
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members
- Build and maintain positive client relationships through proactive communication
- Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement changes to enhance efficiency and service quality
- Work with partners or managers to assess technical issues and provide practical solutions on complex accounting treatments and SST matters
- Assist with any other ad-hoc assignments from time to time
Requirements
- Degree/ Diploma in Accounting, ACCA, MIA or equivalent qualifications
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Possess a positive, proactive, and helpful attitude
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and basic computer software applications
- Preferably at least 1 year of relevant experience. Experience working in an Accounting or Audit Firm is highly valued
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! Candidates with more relevant experience will be considered for Senior or Managerial positions.
- 5-day work week (Monday – Friday)
- Work from home 1 day per week
- Flexi work hours - Start time between 8.30am and 9.30am
