E-commerce Accounting Executive (Junior and Senior role)

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented E-commerce Accounting Executive (Junior and Senior role) to join our newly formed dynamic team. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing and optimizing finance processes for our existing and emerging e-commerce ventures. If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and are passionate about integrating finance functions with innovative e-commerce operations, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute core finance tasks, including payments, billings, journal postings, reconciliations, and managing system-to-gateway reconciliations for our e-commerce platforms.
  • Assist in managing e-commerce accounts across multiple platforms.
  • Conduct account reconciliation including verifying orders, payments, and settlement reports.
  • Perform month‑end and year‑end financial closing activities, ensuring accurate journal entries and timely accruals of costs and revenues.
  • Ensure accurate and timely payments, inter‑company transactions and reconciliations in accordance with contractual terms, finance policies, and procedures.
  • Review, streamline, and optimize finance processes for both B2C and B2B e-commerce operations.
  • Collaborate with business teams and the Finance team to ensure compliance with company finance policies, standard operating procedures, and regulatory considerations for e-commerce initiatives.
Key Requirements
  • Degree in Accountancy (or equivalent).
  • 2-5 years of experience in accounting or finance.
  • Basic understanding of e-commerce operations and online marketplace platforms is an advantage.
  • Good communication, coordination and problem‑solving skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and basic data analysis.
  • Proficiency in accounting software (Autocount/SQL), enabling efficient financial management.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Self‑driven, resourceful, and comfortable navigating ambiguity in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Highly analytical and detail‑oriented, with excellent organizational skills.
  • Positive "can‑do" attitude with the ability to multitask and remain resilient under pressure.
