Job summary

A leading manufacturing firm in Johor is seeking a Maintenance Technician to execute maintenance and support tasks for machinery and facilities. Responsibilities include ensuring compliance with legal requirements, assisting in daily production and logistics processes, and performing maintenance on various equipment. The ideal candidate should have at least 3 years of relevant experience and possess knowledge in mechanical and electrical systems. This role offers a structured 5.5-day working week.

Qualifications

• 3 years of experience in machine maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge in Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic systems is advantageous.
• Proactive and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance on machinery and equipment.

Job description

Responsibilities

Perform day‑to‑day execution of the Machining Ops, Coating Ops, and Logistics Ops work processes, including:

• Maintenance of machinery, equipment, vehicles, etc.

Facilities Maintenance

Perform day‑to‑day execution of facilities maintenance operations, including:

• Maintenance and upkeep of office building including but not limited to security guard house, worker’s hostel, machines, tools, equipment, etc.
• Work with vendors/ contractors to carry out the maintenance/ repairs works for facilities/ machines and equipment;
• Work with vendors/ contractors to coordinate for the installations/ maintenance/ servicing/ repair works for the office facilities, machines and equipment, etc.;
• Manage and ensure all our office facilities, machines and equipment, etc. are in compliance with legal requirements.

Production & Logistics Support

Provide support for day‑to‑day production & logistics work processes, including:

• Assist in assembly, packing, loading/unloading of goods.
• Operate a production machine in accordance with established procedures and guidelines.
• Perform ad‑hoc duties as and when assigned.

Job Requirements

• At least 3 years of working experience in maintenance of machines, troubleshooting and installation of electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Knowledge in field of Mechanical, Hydraulic & Pneumatic system, Programmable Logic Controller (PLC) system will be an advantage.
• Able to work under minimum supervision, independent and pro‑active.
• 5.5‑day working week.
