A travel service company in Kuala Lumpur is looking for a Junior IT Executive to support daily IT operations. The role involves troubleshooting hardware and software issues, assisting with network problems, and managing user accounts. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience in IT support or be recent graduates with relevant education. Willingness to provide after-hours support is expected. The Junior IT Executive is responsible for assisting the IT Department with daily support issues reported by internal users. This includes resolving hardware, and other technical challenges faced by users.
Provide first level support for hardware issues, including desktops, laptops, printers and other peripherals.
Troubleshooting and resolve software problems related to operating system, business applications, and MS365.
Assist in the setup, configuration and maintenance of IT Equipment.
Managing user accounts, permissions, and access rights in line with company policies.
Support users with email related issues, including configuration, troubleshooting, and maintenance of M365 accounts.
Ensure proper functioning of email services.
Assist with network troubleshooting and support including Wi‑Fi, VPN and network related issues.
Provide technical support for video conferencing system, including setup and troubleshooting.
Stay update on the latest IT and technologies to provide informed support and recommendations.
Maintain detailed documentation of IT assets, configurations, and support activities.
Assist in the preparation of reports on IT system performance, issues, and resolutions.
Maintain and update the IT ticketing system to track technical support requests and resolutions. Ensure all daily technical support status updates are accurately recorded in the system. Generate reports from the ticketing system to identify trends and areas for improvement.
