Job summary

A design and construction company in Selangor is seeking a talented Interior Designer who will have the chance to express creative ideas and develop a robust career portfolio. The ideal candidate will possess or pursue relevant education in Interior Design and be skilled in AutoCAD and 3D design software. Communication in English and Mandarin is essential, and fresh graduates are encouraged to apply. This position offers a fixed monthly salary, KWSP & SOCSO, and annual leave with a five-day work week.

Responsibilities

• Express talents and ideas to kick-start a career in Interior Design.
• Draw and build floor plans, including newly designed plans.
• Determine the client’s goals and requirements of the project.
• Sketch preliminary design plans including electrical layouts.
• Specify materials and furnishings for projects.
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs.
• Ensure client satisfaction post-project completion.

• Specify materials and furnishings, such as lighting, furniture, wall finishes, flooring, plumbing fixtures & etc
• Responsible to draw a project design outward that fulfills company or client’s requirements while integrating the needs of marketing, sales and manufacturing capability
• Prepare final plans, using computer applications
• Work involves creating, designing, modeling and producing prototypes
• Create a timeline for the interior design project and estimate project costs
• Place orders for materials and oversee installing the design elements
• Visit after the project accomplishes to ensure that the client is satisfied
