We're looking to add a Junior Engineer located in Yong Peng, Johor to support our extraordinary teams and contribute to our growth.
Operations & Maintenance
- Perform daily inspections, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on all building facility and utility systems.
- Monitor system performance (e.g., HVAC, electrical load, water supply, generators) to ensure optimal operation and energy efficiency.
- Respond promptly to facility-related breakdowns, emergencies, or service requests, and implement effective solutions.
Technical Support & Troubleshooting
- Diagnose faults and troubleshoot issues in mechanical, electrical, and plumbing (MEP) systems.
- Coordinate with external vendors, contractors, and technical specialists for specialized repairs or servicing.
- Assist in the installation, testing, and commissioning of new equipment or systems.
Compliance & Safety
- Ensure all facility operations comply with local regulations, safety standards (e.g., DOSH, Bomba), and company policies.
- Maintain accurate logs, records, and reports of maintenance activities, inspections, and equipment status.
- Participate in safety audits and risk assessments related to facility infrastructure.
Project & Improvement Support
- Support facility upgrades, renovations, or improvement projects under the guidance of senior staff.
- Propose and implement initiatives to enhance system reliability, reduce operational costs, or improve sustainability.
General Duties
- Maintain inventory of critical spare parts and tools.
- Prepare and update facility layout drawings, system schematics, and operation manuals as needed.
- Perform any other duties as assigned by the superior.
Skills and Personalities
- Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, Facility Management, or related field.
- Years of relevant experience in building facility maintenance, utility operations, or a similar role (adjust based on junior/engineer level).
- Basic knowledge of HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing, and building automation systems (BAS) is preferred.
- Ability to read technical drawings and schematics.
- Strong problem‑solving skills and willingness to work on‑call during emergencies.
- Good communication skills and team‑player attitude.
