A global business consulting firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Business Process Specialist to support the analysis and improvement of business processes. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree and experience in operational transformation. Responsibilities include documenting workflows, identifying inefficiencies, and supporting automation initiatives. Strong analytical and communication skills are essential, along with a keen interest in business process optimization.
The Junior Business Process Specialist is to supports the analysis, documentation, and improvement of business processes in across the organization. This role works closely with team and business stakeholders to help identify process gaps, document workflows, and support continuous improvement and automation initiatives in the Q2C business process activity.
Assist in documenting current-state ("as-is") and future-state ("to-be") business processes.
Support process mapping and workflow documentation using flowcharts and process models.
Participate in requirements gathering through stakeholder discussions, interviews, and workshops.
Help identify process inefficiencies, risks, and improvement opportunities.
Prepare clear and structured process documentation, SOPs, and presentation materials.
Support process improvement, standardization and governance initiatives.
Assist senior team members with automation, system enhancements, or transformation projects related to Q2C.
Support the tracking and reporting of basic process KPIs and performance metrics.
Assist with user acceptance testing (UAT), training materials, and change management activities.
Perform ad-hoc analysis and provide administrative support related to process improvement work.
Experience or hands-on exposure to business process mapping and documentation.
Experience in operational, transformation, or process improvement environments (internship or full-time).
Strong interest in business process improvement, optimization and automation.
Good analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
Clear written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders.
Strong attention to detail and ability to document processes accurately.
Comfortable working with data, documents, spreadsheets, and presentations.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Management, Operations, or a related field.
3 - 5 years’ experience in business process improvement, operations or consulting.
Prior exposure to Q2C processes is an advantages.
