Job summary

A technology firm in Malaysia is seeking a Test Engineer to support ATE Test solutions and fulfill customer device testing requirements. The ideal candidate will develop test programs in C++ and Visual Basic, maintain ATE systems, and ensure technical competitiveness. Applicants should have a degree in Electrical or Electronic Engineering, at least 2 years of relevant experience, and solid communication skills. Familiarity with laboratory equipment is essential, and knowledge of Mandarin is a plus.

Qualifications

Our company is looking for a Test Engineer to be responsible to support Microtest solutions for ATE Testmarket by fulfilling customer’s device test requirements and show technical competitive differentiation.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Supporting Microtest solutions for the ATE Test Market
• Identify and align Microtest products with the customer's device test requirements/roadmap and show technical competitive differentiation.
• Developing the Test List/Test Plan for DUT testing coverage
• Developing ATE Test Program (C++ and Visual Basic);
• Developing ATE device interface board (DIB);
• Maintain & sustain ATE system

Requirements

• Bachelor’s / Master’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering;
• Capability to program in C++ and VB;
• Knowledge in ATE test program.
• Knowledge at least at the basic level of the main laboratory equipment: oscilloscope, multimeter, spectrum analyser;
• Flexible in work assignment and enthusiastic to work.
• Good communications skills
• Mandarin language is add on advantage
• Willing to travel.
• At least 2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
