Job summary

Job description

To arrange clinic appointment schedule for patients

Liase between Japanese patients and other non Japanese patients with Doctor on duty (to follow up on their symptoms, send results to patients, set follow up appointment dates etc.)

Translate for Japanese patients to doctors on duty during consultation

No need to know all medical terms as will pick up along the way. May use google translation or other websearch engines during consultation to help get the medical terms in Japanese so that patient may understand their conditions/illnesses better

During consultations, to assist doctors on duty whenever possible (such as prepare the plasters or trays for vaccination cases. Or write patient's name on the test tubes for blood taking cases. All these will be taught gradually.)

Daily reception tasks are : prepare patient's file for next day appointments, prepare insurance form prior to patient's arrival, answering phone calls and enquiries, reply emails, WA or LINE enquiries, prepare medicines and let doctors on duty to counter check again. (preparing medicine isnt hard at all, as its almost the same medicine every day ! :D )
