Job summary

A reputable recruitment agency is seeking a talented individual for a sales role in Kulai, Johor. The selected candidate will be responsible for developing strong client relationships, identifying new business opportunities, and providing technical sales support. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree and proficiency in Japanese (JLPT N2 preferred) along with 2–5 years of relevant sales experience. Strong interpersonal skills and an understanding of Japanese business culture will be advantageous.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Japanese language (spoken and written); JLPT N2 or above preferred.
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably in manufacturing or industrial products.
• Ability to work independently and travel as required.

Our client is an established Japanese brand of industrial used fabric with office in Kulai, Johor.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients and partners
• Identify new business opportunities and support sales growth in target markets
• Conduct product presentations and provide technical support to customers
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure customer requirements are met
• Prepare quotations, proposals, and sales reports
• Attend industry events, exhibitions, and client meetings as needed
• Provide translation and interpretation support during meetings and documentation review

Job Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Marketing or a related field
• Proficiency in Japanese language (spoken and written); JLPT N2 or above preferred
• 2–5 years of experience in sales, preferably with sales experience in manufacturing or industrial products
• Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills
• Ability to work independently and travel as required (SEA, Japan)
• Familiarity with Japanese business culture is an advantage
