A private educational institution in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an IT Support Executive to provide comprehensive helpdesk support. The role requires proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues and maintaining the network infrastructure for teachers and staff. The ideal candidate will possess a Diploma in Computer Science/IT and strong problem-solving skills, along with experience in a similar technical support role. Provide comprehensive helpdesk support and technical solutions for teachers and staff, diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Provide helpdesk support and IT solutions for teachers and staff.
Support a wide range of IT hardware, including PCs, printers, switches, routers, firewalls, access points, projectors, CCTV, smart panels and NAS devices.
Install, configure, and troubleshoot Windows operating systems and software applications, including the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook) and the School Management System.
Maintain and support internet connectivity and network infrastructure to ensure reliable performance across all sites.
Oversee system backup and restore processes, ensuring data integrity and security.
Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues promptly to minimize downtime.
Manage user accounts, permissions, email systems, and Microsoft 365 administration including timely deactivation of expired accounts as required by HR.
Maintain accurate inventory records of all IT hardware, software licenses, and assets.
Assist with procurement of IT equipment and software.
Document support activities, technical solutions, and standard operating procedures.
Collaborate with team members and external vendors to resolve complex IT issues.
Provide end-user training and guidance on IT systems and applications as needed.
