Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Solution Lead, who will be part of Customer Self-Served team, to design, oversee, and deliver robust mobile and web portal systems. This role combines architectural vision with hands‑on technical leadership to guide teams, ensure delivery excellence, and align technology with business goals.
The successful candidate is one who has deep understanding of the mobile and portal application architecture & design, micro‑services architecture, API principles, database/data mart/Operating data store design & architecture and agile release management. He/she is passionate in ensuring the stability and robustness of the mobile and portal applications and data related system. As an Enterprise Solution Lead, you will need to communicate with various stakeholders (External Partners, Business and IT), both locally and regionally.
Responsibilities
- Define end‑to‑end architecture for mobile and web portal solutions.
- Ensure scalability, performance, and security are built into all designs.
- Select and evaluate suitable technologies, frameworks, and cloud platforms.
- Act as the technical lead for development teams, providing hands‑on guidance and mentorship.
- Review and approve code, architecture, and design decisions.
- Establish coding standards, best practices, and system governance.
- Partner with business stakeholders, product owners, and analysts to turn requirements into technical solutions.
- Communicate architectural decisions and trade‑offs effectively to both technical and non‑technical audiences.
- Lead integration across mobile apps, web portals, APIs, and back‑end systems.
- Define data flows and ensure interoperability with third‑party services.
- Drive DevOps, CI/CD, and security best practices.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory and security standards.
- Oversee technical delivery to ensure solutions meet quality, scope, and timeline.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering or similar domain.
- Minimum 12 years of hands‑on experience in designing, delivering and supporting mission critical applications/systems.
- Minimum 5 years in leading and managing technical team in delivering projects and supporting applications/systems.
- Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in designing, architecting, development and deployment datamarts, operational data stores and distributed database.
- Ability to coach, empower and lead teams to self‑organization.
- Demonstrated experience of driving continual improvement.
- Demonstrated experience of identifying and resolving team impediments.
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in Scrum Master, experience in Agile deliver, ideally for multiple teams. Experienced as a Release Train Engineer with SAFe Release Train Engineer certification will be advantageous.
- Proven experience in mobile (iOS, Android) and web portal development and architecture.
- Deep knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and API design (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
- Strong understanding of security protocols (OAuth2, JWT, SAML, SSL/TLS).
- Familiarity with microservices, containerization (Docker, Kubernetes), and modern DevOps.
- Experience with enterprise architecture frameworks (TOGAF, Zachman).
- Application performance monitoring and tuning experience is desired.
- Strong presenter being able to articulate root cause analysis and technical solutions to a wide range of audiences.
- Strong technical and business acumen with vendor management skills.
- Good teamwork, good interpersonal and negotiation skill, working independently is essential.
- Ability to balance strategic vision with hands‑on delivery.
- Working experience in a financial services industry and/or operating under strict regulatory constraints is an advantage.
