Job Role

Responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and completion of technical projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and meet stakeholder requirements. Act as a bridge between technical teams and business objectives, requiring both project management expertise and technical knowledge. Part of the designated technical teams to oversee the development, implementation of any projects or automation related assignments.

Duties and Responsibilities
  • Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria
  • Plan and manage projects end-to-end within MSS Finance. This covers all projects related to: General Ledger (GL), Fixed Assets (FA), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR) and Financial Accounting Hub (FAH) on Oracle EBS R12.2
  • Allocate and manage project resources, including personnel, budget, and tools
  • Track and monitor project progress against timelines, milestones, and objectives
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate project and technical risks
  • Provide regular project status updates and reporting to stakeholders and PSCs
  • Manage month-end and daily processing activities, including batch processing & financial reporting to PSCs
  • Oversee and optimize EGL batch processing performance
  • Manage initiatives related to hollowing out from Core Banking system
  • Provide technical guidance, direction, and support to project teams
  • Resolve technical challenges and issues throughout the project lifecycle
  • Lead and coordinate cross-functional project teams to ensure effective collaboration
  • Ensure quality assurance of deliverables and adherence to technical and governance standards
Qualifications and Requirements
  • Minimum tertiary qualification in Information Technology (IT) or a related field
  • Strong knowledge and hands‑on experience in IT application architecture, design, and development
  • Experience in enterprise systems and financial platforms
  • Solid understanding of IT solution disciplines, processes, and best practices
  • Technical aptitude with exposure across application, information, technology and business process domains
  • Deep technical understanding of relevant systems, technologies, and processes
  • Strong knowledge of project management methodologies, tools, and techniques
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective stakeholder engagement
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide teams
  • Strong problem‑solving skills to identify, analyze, and resolve complex issues
  • Strong analytical skills to track progress, interpret data, and support decision‑making
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently
  • Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies preferred
