Job summary

A leading IT firm in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a dedicated Assistant Manager to lead the in-house IT support team and oversee infrastructure modernization initiatives. The role requires blending technical leadership, hands-on support, and project management. Responsibilities include managing daily IT operations, overseeing user accounts, evaluating vendor proposals for modernization, and ensuring system reliability across environments. Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or IT and at least 5 years of experience in IT support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of working experience in IT support and Infrastructure operations.
• Prior experience evaluating vendor proposals and managing infrastructure upgrades.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily IT support operations for end users across hardware, software, and network services.
• Manage Active Directory, user account setup, file sharing, printing systems, and endpoint security.
• Ensure system reliability, high availability, and performance across environments.
• Maintain IT documentation, asset records, and licensing schedules.
