Job summary

A leading Southeast Asian superapp is looking for an IT Governance Specialist to enhance risk management practices within its Governance Team. You will support the Governance Leader by implementing IT controls, conducting risk assessments, and coordinating audits. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of experience in IT Governance, preferably using COBIT, alongside proficiency in technical knowledge related to risk management. This role is based onsite in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia.

Qualifications

• At least 4 years in IT Governance, Risk Management, and Controls, preferably using COBIT.
• Proficient in conducting IT risk assessments and managing risk registers.
• Familiar with IT controls, KRIs, KPIs, and frameworks (e.g., COBIT).
• CISM, CISA, or CRISC, COBIT 2019 Foundation Training is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Implement IT controls aligned with the IT Risk Management framework.
• Maintain alignment with Enterprise Risk Management processes.
• Evaluate countermeasures and recommend effective controls.
• Manage risk registers and build relationships with risk owners.
• Assist in IT audits and perform ad-hoc IT process reviews.
