1. 1.Plans and executes comprehensive IT audits (system development / application / network / IT operations / system security / Disaster Recovery).
2. 2. Executes and manages audits to ensure audits executed are compliance with standard policies, procedures, regulatory requirement and established scope and objectives.
3. 3. Ensures the adequacy of coverage and scope of audit reviews performed.
4. 4. Prepare and presents written audit reports and other technical information in a pertinent, concise, and accurate manner and recommends solutions required to minimize exposures arising from control or other deficiencies or optimize effectiveness of are reviewed for distribution to management.
5. 5. Observes and achieves the timely issuance of audit reports.
6. 6. Prepares working papers to ensure that adequate documentation is in place to support the completed reviews.
7. 7. Guides & promotes the use of computerized audit techniques within the department, and in developing methods for review and analysis of computerized information systems.
8. 6. Performs follow up on audit observations to ensure that management has taken adequate corrective action(s) including validation of all observations closed, prior to recommending Manager for issue closure.
9. 7. Participates as an independent observer in the development / implementation of projects.
10. 8. To execute ad hoc reviews or other assignments as directed by the Section Head, IT / Chief Internal Auditor (CIA) in a timely manner.
