Job summary

A leading global IoT solutions provider in Penang is seeking an experienced operations and maintenance engineer with proficiency in Linux and Python scripting. Candidates should have over 3 years of relevant experience and be familiar with cloud services and containerization technologies. The role involves monitoring IoT platform performance, resolving technical incidents, and developing automation scripts. Fluency in English is required, and Mandarin communication skills are preferred.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience as an operations and maintenance/network engineer.
• Proficient in Linux/Windows system maintenance.
• Ability to develop operation and maintenance scripts, preferably Python/Ansible.
• Familiarity with cloud services and containerization technology.
• Fluent in reading and writing English technical documents.

Responsibilities

• Conduct deep monitoring of global IoT platform performance.
• Resolve Level 2 technical incidents.
• Develop operation automation scripts to enhance operational efficiency.
• Assist in creating SOPs and guide support team technicians.
• Support training to elevate technical proficiency.
