Overview

About the Company: Our client is a leading global medical technology company in Malaysia that specializes in precision equipment, healthcare solutions, and regulated operations.

About the Role: We are seeking an experienced Inventory Controller to take ownership of warehouse operations, inventory accuracy, and demo/loaner asset control in a structured, SOP-driven environment. This is a hands-on, operational role ideal for professionals who thrive on end-to-end warehouse workflows, coordinating daily with Sales, Service, and internal teams, and ensuring assets and inventory are managed with precision.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee full warehouse operations: inbound receiving, inspection, GR, storage, picking, packing, and outbound delivery.
  • Supervise warehouse activities to maintain SOP compliance, safety, and inventory discipline.
  • Act as the main coordination point between Sales, Marketing, Service Engineers, and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage demo and loaner assets, including booking, tracking, follow-ups, and timely return arrangements.
  • Maintain accurate inventory and asset records using SFDC, ERP/WMS, and related systems.
  • Support stock counts, cycle counts, and variance reconciliation with SCM.
  • Assist with QARA activities including ship holds, recalls, and FCA compliance.
  • Coordinate logistics arrangements, deliveries, collections, and documentation.
Qualifications
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in warehouse management and inventory control.
  • Proven exposure to structured, SOP-driven environments.
  • Comfortable explaining and executing step-by-step warehouse workflows.
  • Strong experience coordinating with Sales, Engineers, and internal teams.
  • Diploma or Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or equivalent.
  • Hands-on experience with SAP, SFDC, ERP/WMS, and Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Detail-oriented, consistent, firm, and process-driven.
  • Strong warehouse and inventory management experience.
  • Ability to thrive in structured operations.
  • Experience in regulated medical technology environments is an added advantage.
