We are seeking a skilled and experienced Inventory Planner to join our team at MY NAFCO PRECISION SDN. BHD. in Seremban, Negeri Sembilan. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the production planning and inventory management processes to ensure efficient and cost-effective operations that meet our business objectives.

What you’ll be doing
  • Developing and implementing inventory plans to meet customer demand and minimise inventory holding costs
  • Analysing inventory levels, and production capacity to identify opportunities for improvement
  • Collaborating with the production team to optimise workflows, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions
  • Maintaining accurate inventory records and implementing effective inventory management strategies
  • Generating reports and providing insights to support decision-making processes
  • Continuously seeking ways to enhance productivity, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness
What we’re looking for
  • 2+ years of experience in inventory management, preferably in the manufacturing industry
  • Strong understanding of production planning methodologies, inventory control techniques, and supply chain management principles
  • Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for production planning, scheduling, and inventory management
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and address complex issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams
  • Proven track record of delivering cost-effective and efficient production and inventory management solutions
  • Relevant academic qualifications, such as a degree in Operations Management, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
