Overview

We are looking for an Interior Designer (Workspace) to join our Enterprise / Real Estate Team. The Interior Designer (Workspace) will collaborate with internal teams and clients to design and execute workplace and corporate interior projects. The role combines design, project management and sales support, ensuring creative and functional spaces that align with client needs and company standards.

Responsibilities
  • To work with the internal real estate team to conceptualize the space planning for the new outlets.
  • To work closely with the Business Development team to support new opportunities and to complete RFPs.
  • To prepare and present the design (design concept, space planning, and costing proposals) via material boards, sample boards, mock-ups and material/product libraries, and client presentation decks to the potential clients, while acting as a workplace strategist to consult and offer office solutions.
  • To work with external consultants, including outsourced ID, through the design phase to the completion of the project
  • To develop the detailed design in close alignment with regular Client touch points upon the confirmation of the project.,
  • To research design best practices and incorporate it into design SOPs’s playbook.
  • To maintain organized project files and documentation to ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance with project requirements.
  • To do other additional ad-hoc tasks as assigned.
As part of the real estate team
  • To ensure design deliverables adhere to product standards and any quality assurance policies and procedures for design, documentation, and project management,
  • To communicate project updates regularly to management and cross functional teams such as the status of each project, potential issues, risks, etc,
  • To host project meetings and client presentations as needed,
  • To assist the Project Manager with the overall project management of new outlets.
  • To do site supervision and manage project costing from inception to completion.
Job requirements
  • Candidate to possess a Degree/ Diploma in Interior Design, Architecture, Real Estate, Project Management or any relevant field or equivalent.
  • At least 3 years of proven experience of working on Corporate Interiors/Workplace design projects. Residential interior design experience will not be considered.
  • Experienced in client-facing presentation; excellent communication skills and ability to present design concepts to clients.
  • Strong design sensibility and the technical ability to develop a project from concept to execution.
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating design documentation with external consultants, project budgeting and deliverables management.
