A leading IT solutions provider in Malaysia is seeking a candidate with at least 5 years of experience in network or cybersecurity, including 3 years in pre-sales. The role involves supporting customer outreach, conducting technical assessments, and delivering Zscaler solution demonstrations. Ideal candidates should possess strong communication skills, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, and hands-on experience with Zscaler products. Fluency in English is essential for effective communication with global teams.
Core Requirements:
Hands‑on experience with Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA) and Zscaler Private Access (ZPA) is an advantage.
Experience in network security solutions, including firewalls, VPNs, proxies, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP).
Experience with API integration, automation scripting, or configuration management tools is an advantage.
Experience with Zscaler or similar cloud security platforms is an advantage.
Experience collaborating with cross‑functional teams, multiple stakeholders, and international teams.
Organized, proactive, and capable of managing multiple tasks and priorities.
Fluency in English is a must, both written and spoken, to communicate effectively with global teams.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
Relevant certification such as Zscaler Certified Sales Engineer (ZCSE), ZIA/ZPA Specialist certification are preferred.
Work closely with the Inside Sales Representative to support customer outreach, qualification activities, and technical discussions.
Align with the ISR on customer requirements, engagement plans, and follow‑up actions to ensure a coordinated presales approach.
Conduct technical assessments to validate customer use cases and determine alignment with Zscaler capabilities.
Identify potential technical gaps, risks, or dependencies and recommend appropriate next steps.
Deliver Zscaler solution demonstrations to showcase core product features, workflows, and value propositions.
Maintain demo readiness, ensuring that demonstration environments, scripts, and materials are current and accurate.
Provide simple, clear whiteboard explanations of Zscaler architecture, traffic flows, and deployment models.
Communicate technical concepts in a manner that is accessible to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Provide technical updates to customers upon request, including product enhancements, best practices, and relevant roadmap information (as permitted).
Conduct technical presentations, hands‑on demonstrations, and hands‑on proof‑of‑concept (PoC), for potential customers.
Address basic technical inquiries and escalate complex issues to senior technical resources when necessary.
Ensure customers receive timely support during POC cycles to maintain engagement momentum.
Assists the Technical team in the transition from Sales to initial project implementation.
Create and maintain re‑usable assets (ex: slide decks, battlecards, discovery questions, etc) that improves customer engagement.
Improve customer experience based on collected feedback to strengthen relationships and ensure long‑term success.
