Overview

The In-House Systems Engineer shall apply his/her technical expertise and experience to meet company's changing requirements/ assignments/ challenge. This includes deployment and installation of operating system software, in-house systems programming and modification of in-house systems, performance analysis, database maintenance and management, security administration, and management of data storage.

Responsibilities
  • Plan, coordinate, direct, design organization's daily operational IT-related activities.
  • Work closely with decision makers in other departments to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support cost-effective technology solutions for all aspects of the organization.
  • Define and implement IT policies, procedures, and best practices.
  • Analyzing system logs and identifying potential issues with computer systems.
  • Application deployments.
  • Applying infrastructure updates, patches, and configuration changes.
  • Build, install and configure new/ enhance hardware and software.
  • Adding, removing, or updating user account information, resetting passwords, etc.
  • Answering technical queries and assisting users.
  • Responsible for security, documenting the configuration of the system, system performance tuning & handling backup procedures.
  • Diagnose and correct computer systems issues.
  • Provide hands-on system administration support, system maintenance and operations support.
  • Ensuring that the network infrastructure is up and running.
  • Configuring, adding, and deleting file systems.
  • Ensuring parity between development, test and production environments.
Requirements
  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or other relevant discipline.
