A logistics company is seeking an individual to manage import responsibilities in Johor Bahru. The role involves attending to overseas agents, managing Notices of Arrival, and ensuring timely shipment releases. Candidates should preferably have experience in the Import Department. Responsibilities include handling communications, managing fees, and updating records. The position requires attention to detail and the ability to work with various stakeholders.
Responsible to attend Pre-alerts from overseas agent including going through Master BL and House BL whether comply with destination rules & regulations, create master job in in-house system and distribute pre-alerts to particular PIC from internal team
Request and Receiving Notice of Arrival from carriers / coloaders, issue credit note in system for account to arrange payment and to make sure shipment release on time
In charge of J5 unstuffing application submission for certain type of DG cargo
Responsible to attend emails and calls from all parties like Overseas agents, hauliers, carriers, customers and etc.
Manage container washing / damage fee with carriers, overseas agent and haulier including dispute and refund
To make sure all revise information / documents up to date in system and update to respective department
Arrange urgent unstuffing arrangement with warehouse if request from consignee
Any other job which assigned by H.O.D
Preferable with working experience in Import Department
