Job description

As an Import/Export Declaration Clerk at PHOENIX FREIGHT (M) SDN BHD, you will play a crucial role in the company's import and export operations. This full-time position is based in Bandar Puteri Klang, Selangor, and involves handling all aspects of customs declarations and clearance procedures.

What you\'ll be doing
  • Prepare and submit accurate import and export declarations to the relevant authorities (e.g., Paper declaration via SealNet system, Westport and Northport system, DagangNet, VGM update, Gatepass taking for shipments).
  • Liaise with customs officials, freight forwarders, and other stakeholders to ensure timely and compliant clearance of goods.
  • Maintain detailed records of all import and export activities, including documentation and communication.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in customs regulations and procedures, and ensure the company\'s compliance.
  • Provide support to the logistics team in coordinating the movement of goods.
  • Assist with other administrative tasks related to the import and export process as required.
