The Teacher is responsible for creating an educational environment that enables students to achieve their full potential – intellectually, emotionally, physically, spiritually, and psychologically. This role involves developing course outlines and delivering instructional programs aligned with the policies and guidelines of the Malaysian Ministry of Education, the Ontario Ministry of Education, and/or the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme.

In addition to academic responsibilities, the Teacher will contribute to non-academic services, including professional development, extra-curricular activities, student counselling, and school marketing initiatives. Academic staff are also expected to engage in scholarly activities to enhance teaching, research, and professional expertise.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop teaching materials and course outlines.
  • Implement engaging instructional activities that foster active and meaningful learning experiences.
  • Identify and modify instructional resources to accommodate diverse student needs, backgrounds, and learning styles.
  • Assess and respond to evolving curricular requirements, recommending improvements where necessary.
  • Ensure continuous student growth and achievement across subject areas and program classifications.
  • Provide academic and non-academic counselling to students as and when needed.
  • Perform administrative tasks related to teaching, including maintaining attendance records and invigilating examinations.
  • Participate in extra-curricular activities, including student counselling, readiness assessments, and school promotion/marketing initiatives.
  • Engage in scholarly activities to advance teaching quality and professional expertise.
Requirements
  • A degree or certification in Education.
  • At least 2 years of experience in teaching Business and Economics subjects at the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme level.
  • Fluent in English and Mandarin.
