Own and coordinate the site-wide pest control program in line with food safety, SHE, and regulatory standards
Act as the key contact between the plant and external pest control service providers
Review monthly service reports, trend analyses, pest sightings, and treatment recommendations
Monitoring & verification
- Conduct routine Gemba walks across production, warehouse, and surrounding areas
- Monitor pest trends using traps, glue boards, ILTs, pheromone systems, and prompt escalation of abnormalities
- Verify corrective actions and ensure timely closure of non‑conformities
Preventive actions & improvements
- Drive preventive measures including proofing, housekeeping, waste management, vegetation control, and structural sealing
- Collaborate with internal committees to eliminate pest harbourage points and improve sanitation
Contract & service management
- Manage pest control contracts, performance reviews, and annual evaluations
- Assess new tools, methods, and chemical/bait proposals to ensure food‑plant suitability and safety
- Maintain pest control master lists, device maps, MSDS, reports, and trend charts
- Ensure full compliance with FSSC / ISO 22000, AIB, and customer audit requirements
- Prepare and present monthly pest management KPIs to management
Training & awareness
- Conduct pest awareness training for committee members and site teams
- Coach area owners on early pest detection, housekeeping, and waste handling
Incident management
- Lead investigations into pest sightings, activity spikes or customer complaints
- Define containment actions to eliminate contamination risks
- Escalate critical infestation risks promptly
Cross-functional collaboration
- Work closely with Production, QA, Warehouse, Engineering, HR, Canteen Operators, and Security
- Support a strong food safety and sanitation culture across the site
Continuous improvement
- Analyse pest trends to identify hotspots and root causes
- Recommend and support improvement projects (e.g., structural upgrades, drainage, new trapping systems)

What we’re looking for
- Diploma with minimum 5 years’ experience in pest management within food manufacturing or FMCG
- or Degree holder
- Strong understanding of food safety standards, audits, and regulatory compliance
- Confident communicator with the ability to work across multiple departments
- Hands‑on, detail-oriented, and proactive problem solver
