Job summary

A local manufacturing company in Batu Pahat is seeking an HR and Payroll Specialist to manage payroll processing, attendance, and recruitment tasks. Candidates must hold a diploma or degree in Human Resource Management or a related field, with at least one year of experience. Proficiency in both Bahasa Malaysia and English is required, and knowledge of Mandarin is advantageous. This role demands strong computer skills and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

  • At least 1 year of experience in HR or payroll processing.
  • Good command of written and verbal English and Malay; Mandarin is a plus.
  • Experience in a manufacturing background preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Handle payroll processing including salary, overtime, and allowances.
  • Manage attendance records, including leaves and overtime.
  • Assist in recruitment and maintain employee records.

Job description
Responsibilities

Handle payroll processing including in monthly basic / daily salary, overtime calculation, outstation allowance, attendance allowance, etc.

Responsible for processing & checking attendance including leave, overtime, part time wages and intern student allowances.

Attend to all payroll queries or payroll computation raise by the staff.

Assist on staff leave records, medical, expenses claim etc.

Maintain proper filing of employees’ personal records for the company.

To assist in recruitment process.

To assist in HR Report (Payroll & Manpower).

To assist and monitoring foreign workers matters including foreign workers application, renewal, hostel accommodation (CFA) & monthly inspection.

To do administrative task including in vehicle roadtax, puspakom & insurance renewal, to issue purchase order for tools or equipment.

To assist in training arrangement as per scheduled.

Any ad hoc tasks as and when is required.

Qualifications

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management, Business Studies/Administration/Management or equivalent.

Good command both written and verbal in Bahasa Malaysia and English. Able to communicate in Mandarin will be an added advantage.

Applicants from a Manufacturing background will have an added advantage.

At least 1 year of working experience in the related field is required for this position.

Well-verse with HR/Employment related regulations.

Strong computer skills including proficient in MS Office applications.

Able to work in a challenging and fast-paced working environment.

Good at prioritizing, results-driven, and able to work well under tight deadlines.

Highly committed and motivated to perform.

Able to join immediately would be an added advantage.
