A hospitality company in Port Dickson is seeking a Human Resources Manager to manage the recruitment process and oversee HR functions. This role involves liaising with department heads to understand manpower needs, maintaining employee records, and handling payroll and benefits administration. The ideal candidate will have experience in HR compliance, employee relations, and training coordination, ensuring that all HR practices align with legal requirements. Manage end-to-end recruitment process for non-executive and selected executive roles.
Liaise with department heads to identify manpower needs.
Conduct screening, arrange interviews, and prepare job offers and employment contracts.
Manage onboarding and orientation programmes for new hires.
Maintain accurate and updated employee files, HRIS, and documentation.
Ensure timely updates of attendance records, leave records, and manpower reports.
Prepare HR-related letters such as confirmation letters, warning letters, and memos.
Ensure confidentiality and proper filing practices.
Serve as a point of contact for employee issues, grievances, and HR policy queries.
Support investigations on misconduct cases and prepare related documentation.
Promote positive staff relations by coordinating welfare programmes and staff engagement activities.
Prepare and verify monthly payroll inputs including OT, allowances, deductions, and leave.
Coordinate medical benefits, insurance claims, staff uniform issuance, and other benefits.
Work closely with Finance/Payroll to ensure timely salary processing.
Coordinate training plans, schedules, and records for statutory and internal training.
Ensure compliance with compulsory training such as OSHA, Food Handling (if applicable), and HRDF requirements.
Prepare training reports and assist with internal training activities.
Ensure HR practices comply with the Employment Act, labour regulations, and company policies.
Support internal and external audits related to HR documentation.
Update and implement HR policies and Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Prepare monthly HR reports such as headcount, turnover, absenteeism, and manpower updates.
Analyse data to recommend improvements in HR processes and staff management.
