Job summary

A hospitality management company in Petaling Jaya is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead HR functions including recruitment, payroll, and employee relations. The ideal candidate should possess a Bachelor's Degree, a minimum of 6 years of experience in related fields, and be knowledgeable about the Malaysian labour market. We are representing our client - a hospitality management company specializing in the food and beverage industry. As they continue to expand their business, they are seeking to hire an experienced HR Manager to join their team. They are located at Petaling Jaya

Job Description
  • Lead and be responsible for the full spectrum of HR functions in recruitment &selection, compensation & benefits, employee relations, industrial relations and training & development.
  • Formulate and implement HR policies and procedures according to the Companysguideline and the local regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure monthly payroll (includes OT, allowances and commissions), statutorycontributions and personal income taxes, etc are paid correctly and on time.
  • Lead the development of compensation and benefits programs and implementannual performance review and salary structure processes.
  • Oversee and administer the annual company-wide performance review processincluding appraisal data compilation; prepare analysis and summary report;administer promotion exercise; review and recommend salary moderation tomaintain internal equity
  • Work closely with department heads to resolve day-to-day HR operational matters
  • Manage workforce issues and employee relations matters, including conductinginvestigations
  • Prepare monthly manpower analysis and reports
  • Prepare communication on HR matters for cascading of information.
  • Support in other businesses needs function as and when assigned
Requirements
  • Min Bachelor\'s Degree
  • Atleast 6 years of working experience in a related field, with at least 2 yearsin a managerial role
  • Have good working knowledge about the labour market, HR practices andemployment laws of Malaysia
  • Proficient in using Google Workspace (Drive, Chat, Calendar, Doc, Sheet, Slides, etc)
  • Comfortable analysing HR business operational data
  • Experience in the retail, hospitality, F&B or related industry is an added advantage
