Responsibilities
- Recruitment & Onboarding:
- Manage the end‑to‑end recruitment process, including job posting on platforms like Jobstreet or Indeed, screening candidates, arranging interviews, and preparing offer letters.
- Coordinate the new joiner onboarding process, including orientation and necessary documentation.
- Prepare and process monthly payroll accurately and timely, ensuring all allowances, deductions, and overtime are captured correctly.
- Handle all statutory contributions and submissions (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) in compliance with Malaysian regulations.
- Administer employee benefits, leave records, and medical claims, maintaining accurate records.
- Employee Relations & Compliance:
- Serve as the first point of contact for staff members with HR‑related concerns or grievances, assisting in conflict resolution.
- Ensure all HR policies and procedures are in compliance with the latest Malaysian employment laws and regulations (e.g., Employment Act 1955).
- Coordinate disciplinary actions, investigations, and domestic inquiries when necessary.
- Assist in identifying training needs, coordinating internal/external training programs, and managing HRD Corp training grant applications/claims.
- Support performance management exercises, including preparing appraisal forms and maintaining records.
- Maintain and update all employee records, contracts, and HR documentation with strict confidentiality.
- Prepare various HR reports for management review (e.g., headcount, turnover, compensation).
Requirements
- Possess at least a Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Human Resource Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Proficient in Mandarin, Bahasa Malaysia, and English to effectively communicate with our diverse client base and stakeholders.
- Minimum of 2 years of relevant working experience in a generalist HR role is typically required.
- Strong knowledge of Malaysian labour laws, the Employment Act, and related statutory requirements is essential.
- Proficiency in HR software/systems and Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel) is highly valued.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem‑solving skills.
- Ability to work independently, be proactive, and manage multiple tasks under pressure.
