This position reports to: Hub Division Manager, PAEN, Asia

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia

Your role and responsibilities
  • Responsible to define, align, drive, and continuously improve customer‑focused Operations strategy in alignment with regional business strategy.
  • Accountable for a sustainable and effective end‑to‑end value chain, from supplier to customer and from order to delivery.
  • Responsible for establishing effective operations planning processes for the regional organization and is accountable for achieving the desired outcomes.
  • Accountable for defining safety, quality, delivery, inventory, and productivity targets for Operations.
  • Responsible for defining project execution processes and assessing local project execution teams.
  • Accountable for the effective deployment of the regional organization quality strategy. Responsible for quality assurance, quality control, and the implementation of an integrated quality management system across the regional organization.
  • Accountable for the development and continuous improvement of business processes and procedures and of the overall customer satisfaction. Champions a culture of continuous improvement by deploying a set of continuous improvement competencies and promoting transparency to monitor progress within their own area of responsibility.
  • Establishing governance mechanisms for major programs, to drive and ensure compliance for the regional organization.
  • Establishing management process(es) that align installed capacity with customer demand and workload effectively.
  • Accountable for operational risk management, validates and improves reliability and effectiveness of business operations.
Qualifications for the role
  • Degree in an engineering discipline or finance/business administration.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in Operation management for system delivery projects with multi‑scope, leadership experience managing project portfolios.
  • Experience in working in international environments with different cultures and languages, and managing stakeholders of varying management levels.
  • Excellent interpersonal and leadership skills, good at leading and developing people and change.
  • A strong and good leader, developing processes and people. Good cultural understanding, collaborative approach with excellent communication skills, establishes good working relationships. Structured, results‑oriented, positive, proactive, takes ownership.
  • Excellent leadership, organizational abilities, and the ability to translate business strategy into operational achievements.
  • Proficient in managing organizational change, risk, and opportunities successfully.
  • Outstanding data analysis, reporting, negotiation skills, and excellent written and oral communication. Strong people skills.
