RBC Investor & Treasury Services Malaysia is a processing center of operational excellence supporting 11 countries across three geographical time zones. Malaysia is one of two operational processing hubs that supports Custody - Transaction Management; Settlements; NAV Production; Fund Reporting; Shareholder Services; Global Fund Platform Services; Data Service Delivery; Entitlements – income and corporate actions and Reconciliations. The country employs a Global Operating Model to maximise efficiencies across times zones and supports a 22/7 operational capability.

The objectives for Malaysia are to enhance the scalability of our global operations, improve service quality via our ‘centres of excellence’ and to implement/leverage standard processes globally.

What will you do?
  • Works closely with manager of department to achieve department and organization goals, fully supporting the BAU demands for the Clients and the Business across UK & Canada regions.
  • Accountable for production accuracy of Cash Payments Processing.
  • Evaluates productivity performance and regularly reviews and produces daily/monthly MI reporting; constantly seeks opportunity to increase production accuracy.
  • Ensures the process is controlled, risk is mitigated and automated as much as possible.
  • Action oriented – exhibits drive, motivation, communication and decision‑making skills; displays leadership and demonstrates ability to adapt to change.
  • Identifies and encourages process improvement ideas; manages the efficiency and productivity of the team to ensure all metrics are submitted and maintained accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Achieves all SLA’s that have been agreed.
  • Analyzes and interprets Management Information.
  • Deputizes for Senior Manager where appropriate.
  • Implements development plans for all direct reports.
  • Initiates disciplinary procedures for direct reports as appropriate.
  • Reviews, actions and controls Operational Events as directed by Global policy.
  • Manages and authorises overtime effectively.
