Overview
  • Possesses a strong understanding of business strategy and partners with leaders to design effective organizational structures that support current goals and future growth.
  • Works closely with business leaders and teams to design and execute effective people strategies that support growth and boost performance.
  • Drives HR initiatives, solutions, and programs that align with both business and HR priorities, using organizational insights and data analytics to inform decisions.
  • Proactively addresses talent risks by adopting a holistic approach to engaging internal talent, while leveraging local market insights to support leaders in attracting and retaining top talent.
  • Implements and integrates the people-focused elements of business transformation and change initiatives.
  • Leads engagement initiatives that enhance the employee experience and reinforce the employee value proposition.
  • Actively advocates diversity, equity, and inclusion across all people and culture initiatives.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of HR initiatives and projects.
  • Partners with business leaders and HR teams to deliver a cohesive and integrated HR experience.
  • Supports the end-to-end execution of HR practices throughout the employee lifecycle, encompassing workforce planning, onboarding, talent acquisition, succession planning, leadership development, employee engagement, performance and rewards, diversity and inclusion, talent management, and organizational design and development.
  • Partners with the HR Centre of Excellence (COE) at the regional level to strengthen talent attraction and retention strategies.
  • Gains insight into compensation strategies for transactional service lines and guides business leaders in prioritizing pay, strategic hiring, business justification, and commercial management.
  • Collaborates closely with the SSC team to ensure precise and up-to-date tracking of employment data.
  • Reviews, enhances, implements, and communicates policies and compliance initiatives across the region.
  • Advises leaders and HR teams on compliance with local employment laws and culturally appropriate practices.
  • Assesses the need for investigations and carries them out in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Partners with people leaders on organizational restructures, ensuring legal compliance and strong commercial rationale.
  • Leads or supports the management of underperformance, including the development and implementation of Performance Improvement Plans where necessary.
  • Liaises with external legal counsel and compiles necessary documentation for legal proceedings when required.
  • Develops a strong understanding of the company's brand and service offerings to effectively identify and deliver comprehensive client solutions.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, Psychology, or a related field.
  • Preferably experienced HR Business Partner with at least 8 years of corporate experience.
  • Demonstrated experience in translating business needs into practical HR solutions, overseeing HR projects from planning through execution and ongoing improvement, and leading the people-related components of change initiatives.
  • Well-versed in regulations and employment laws.
  • Hands-on experience with HR technology systems and platforms.
  • Extensive knowledge across key HR functions, including talent acquisition and development, employee retention, employee relations, organizational effectiveness, compensation, and diversity and inclusion.
  • In-depth practical knowledge of legal frameworks, relevant awards, and enterprise agreements, with a proven track record of leading negotiations when required.
  • Proficient in coaching and counselling, with a strong ability to cultivate a high-performing, diverse, and inclusive workplace culture.
  • Skilled in leading and driving change and innovation within HR practices.
  • A confident and articulate communicator with strong presence, capable of engaging effectively across all levels of the organization.
  • Requires strong data analysis skills and proficiency in spreadsheets, including the ability to work with percentages, fractions, and perform financial calculations.
