The HR Manager is a strategic and hands‑on leader responsible for overseeing the full spectrum of Human Resource and Administration functions. This role ensures effective people operations, compliance with Malaysian employment laws, and the development of a positive, employee‑centric culture aligned with the Company’s business objectives and growth plans.

Key Responsibilities (Job Scope)

Develop and implement HR strategies, workforce planning, and succession plans aligned with business goals.

Support management in manpower forecasting, organizational development, and change management initiatives.

Manage end‑to‑end recruitment, onboarding, and manpower planning in collaboration with hiring managers.

Oversee performance management, annual salary review, bonus, and appraisal processes.

Drive employee retention, career development, and succession planning initiatives.

Act as a liaison between management and employees.

Handle employee inquiries, disciplinary matters, investigations, conflicts, and grievances professionally and fairly.

Foster a positive, engaged, and productive workplace culture.

Develop, review, and maintain HR policies, procedures, and employee handbook.

Ensure full compliance with Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory requirements.

Advise management on labour law matters and best HR practices.

Assess training needs and plan, coordinate, and oversee employee training and leadership development programs.

Enhance organizational capability through structured learning initiatives.

Oversee daily HR operations including payroll processing, compensation & benefits, HR documentation, HRIS updates, and statutory reporting.

Ensure payroll is processed accurately and on time in compliance with statutory and company requirements.

Monitor HR metrics and prepare reports for management.

Drive employee engagement initiatives, team‑building activities, and organizational effectiveness programs.

Promote company values and a high‑performance culture.

Manage HR and administration budgets including manpower costs, salary increments, bonuses, training, employee welfare, and office operating expenses.

Perform ad‑hoc duties and HR‑related projects as assigned by management.

Requirements & Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management or a related field.

Minimum 5 years of comprehensive HR experience, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.

Strong knowledge of the Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Act, and other statutory regulations.

Proven experience in managing full‑spectrum HR functions, including recruitment, payroll, and office administration.

Strong ability to handle and resolve employee and staff‑related issues professionally and effectively.

Excellent communication, leadership, problem‑solving, and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work independently and manage confidential matters with a high level of integrity.
