The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of HR experience and strong expertise in recruitment strategies and compliance with Malaysian laws. Responsibilities include overseeing HR processes, coordinating training, and utilizing HRIS for data management. This dynamic role is pivotal for developing effective talent strategies and enhancing employee engagement in a manufacturing setting.
Responsible for end-to-end talent acquisition process for white collar, blue collar and foreign workers.
Responsible for end-to-end foreign worker manager from application, approval and recruitment
Deliver operational excellence by ensure compliance to the TA guideline and Key Performance Indicators
Responsible in ensuring a steady pipeline of skilled workers and addressing immediately staffing requirements at site level.
Leverage on internal and external recruitment channels for diverse and qualified talent sourcing
Utilization of SuccessFactors, Recruitment tools and HR Dashboard to leverage on online job posting and recruitment
Develop professional and strong relationship with university and colleges by participating in career fair, career talk and seminars thus providing recruitment source
Responsible for People News for Malaysia (New Employee Communication)
Challenge stakeholders and work closely with them to identify training needs and achieve a learning and development plan focused toward building required job or developmental competencies which includes monitoring and reviewing training effectiveness.
Coordinate plant wide training program and maintain training records as per Training procedure
Responsible to manage in house training (regulatory or compliance related) and external training as per training plan by engaging effective training provider
Responsible for effective administration of the HRDC (overall coordinate, correspond and ensure compliance to HRDC requirements
Establish and manage end to end onboarding program for new employee to ensure successful assimilation into the organization demonstrated through feedback and employee performance
New Hire Briefing for Permanent and fixed term employee including Medical Briefing
Provide key information from analytics to facilitate local management in empowering people activities in effective and consistent way especially in talent acquisition and learning and development.
Provide HR data analytics from TA & L&D to enable HR Manager to support strategic decision of the plant
Responsible to provide key information for effective site manpower planning and budgeting and overall site capability building to support HR Manager
Partner with site manager and other operational leaders to understand the job requirements, team dynamics, and culture
Analyze and recommend improvement to TA, Onboarding and L&D to further people agenda and support organization objectives delivery to HR Manager.
Leverage on TA and onboarding to deliver excellent candidate experience, building employee engagement, understand retention challenges, make recommendation to HR Manager and execute aligned solution to retain employee and drive shared organization objectives
Responsible to maintain and ensure compliance to relevant internal and external standard during plant related certification audit inclusive of foreign worker recruitment thus ensuring smooth operations
Support production capability development initiative for the operations team by identifying opportunities and adding value to key stakeholders
Perform, monitor and evaluate HR Cycle activities in the plant to ensure the compliance & alignment of regional/global policy, need and priority. This includes primarily recruitment, selection, onboarding, training, organizational development, career management and exit procedure.
Responsible to update HR data integrity in Success Factor – New Hire and Compensation Data Update
Work closely with Senior HR Executive to ensure timely maintenance of HRIS and personnel files
Monthly KPI Reporting
Other projects or initiatives driven by local/global/regional HR
Degree or equivalent, ideally in Human Resource / Business Administration or social sciences
Minimum 5 years in HR generalist role, experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred
4+ years of demonstrated talent acquisition sourcing, encompassing recruitment practices, principles, applications, and methodologies, with proficiency in interviewing and candidate assessment techniques.
Experienced in leading and implementing Learning and development.
Exposure to Lean 6Sigma, Integrated Work System (IWS) is an added advantage
Knowledge or specific business understanding is an added advantage
Well-versed with Malaysia Legislation & Statutory requirement (Employment Act, Industrial Relation Act, SOCSO and EPF) and other relevant standards to ensure compliance
Knowledgeable about HR and recruitment compliance standards, assisting recruiters in ensuring adherence to equal employment opportunity (EEO) regulations and data protection laws.
Demonstrate in depth understanding in L&D management and TA
Demonstrate ability to link understanding of business operations to TA & L&D initiative
Able to analyze data provide information and recommendation
Exposure and experience with applicant tracking systems (ATS) and other recruitment software is an added advantage
