Job summary

A leading company in safety systems is looking for an experienced professional in employee relations in Seremban, Malaysia. The role involves managing disciplinary issues, ensuring legal compliance, and mediating conflicts. Candidates should have at least a Diploma with 5 years of related experience or a Bachelor's degree with 2 years. The ideal applicant is detail-oriented and has strong communication skills. Familiarity with Labour Law and relevant regulations is preferred. Competitive compensation package offered.

  • Familiarity with Labour Law, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Union Acts, EPF and SOCSO is preferred.

Job description

Managing all disciplinary issues by investigating the alleged misconduct, preparing a show cause letter, and charge letter, conduct Domestic Inquiry and recommending the appropriate action to close the case.

Provides support to management personnel regarding policies, procedures, and employee relations problems.

Ensuring legal and policy compliance for all issues pertaining to employee and labour relations.

Supporting the development, interpretation, and application of company policies, and procedures, labour relations, contract administration, grievance handling, employee counselling, and discipline.

Responsible for timely submission of all IR/ER-related reports

To create a harmonious working environment by mediating labour disputes and grievances between employees and the management.

Implement and promote activities and programs including company event that enhance overall employee engagement, communication, and relations.

Involve in National Union Matter such as Collective Agreement negotiation and others.

Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.

Process complaints regarding sexual harassment, discrimination, or other instances of workplace harassment and assist in any necessary investigations and disciplinary actions.

Requirements

Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Advance Diploma with 5 years related experience or bachelor’s degree in Human Resource Management or equivalent with at least 2 years of experience in the related field.

Preferably candidates familiar with Labour Law, Industrial Relations Act, Trade Union Acts, EPF and SOCSO.

Possess strong communication skills and details oriented.
