A growing construction company is seeking a dedicated Human Resources Executive to manage recruitment, support employee engagement, and ensure compliance with Malaysian labor laws. The ideal candidate should have a degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and at least 2 years of relevant experience. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to handle sensitive situations professionally. The role also includes providing PA support to the Director.

What You’ll Do
As a Human Resources Executive, you will play a key role in shaping employee experience and supporting the company’s growth. Your responsibilities will cover the full spectrum of HR functions, including but not limited to:
Managing the end-to-end recruitment process from job postings, shortlisting, and interviewing to onboarding new hires.
Maintaining and updating employee records, HRIS system, and personnel files accurately.
Supporting employee engagement initiatives, training and development programmes, and performance management.
Support the coordination of annual KPIs and performance appraisal exercises.
Assisting in developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and the company handbook.
Assisting in managing employee relations, including handling grievances, disciplinary issues, and providing guidance when necessary.
Handling foreign worker management, including renewals, work permits, visa applications, and FOMEMA medical check-ups.
Liaising with government bodies such as JTK, Immigration Department, EPF, SOCSO, and other relevant authorities to ensure compliance with labour regulations and company obligations.
Preparing HR reports for management and ensuring compliance with labor laws and regulations.
Acting as a key HR point of contact for employees and management.
Providing personal assistant (PA) support to the Director, including managing schedules, coordinating meetings, preparing documents, and handling confidential matters.
Who We’re Looking For
Degree/Diploma in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 years of hands‑on HR experience.
Strong knowledge of Malaysian employment laws
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong working relationships.
Mentally resilient, able to work under pressure, and able to handle sensitive or challenging situations professionally.
Detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks independently.
Knowledge of Infotech HRMS will be an added advantage.
